I’ve maintained and taken care of my property myself with the help of local professionals and even had my roof replaced myself 14 years ago. By far the worst customer service ever. A State Farm client hit my car and they accepted 50% liability. Even after their client offered to pay me cash on the scene. State Farm did not look at my vehicle, didn’t ask for photos or any information but expect me to accept 50% liability. The audacity! This car insurance(State Farm) is only good of collecting your money and suck you dry. My car is in the shop for almost 2 months and still don't have estimate. FYI State Farm recommend me that shop, State Farm didn't do anything to help me with my claimed status when is my car finish the repair. State Farm: Always there when you need them; even if you hit someone, lie about it and are clearly at fault. They will deny the claim against you and keep your rates low.
As a roofing contractor, I can definitely tell you, at least in the last four months that state farm is not there to help the homeowner. I had a client, that even the independent field adjuster had 182 damaged shingles, way past the amount required to replace a whole roof. That's all they wanted to pay for. The field adjuster even quit that day, saying if they aren't going to help a homeowner than he'll take his business elsewhere. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERICE BY OWNER AND AGENTS! I have been chewed out by agent Dede ******on at least one occasion. Owner Chad Haynes called at that time and apologized but agent never apologized. You just received a premium decrease of 23% and will see your bill drop by $279.84 a year on your upcoming 2010 Dodge Challenger renewal. You also received a premium decrease of 31% and will see your bill drop by $462.28 a year on your upcoming 2021 Kia Telluride renewal. Definitely would not recommend using State Farm. I was recently informed by a reputable roofing contractor that the “preferred” companies State Farm suggested I use instead of “storm chasers” after the 2019 hail storm missed significant damage to my roof, gutters, and siding. The “preferred” contractors were on my roof for less than 15 minutes at the time and told me there was nothing significantly wrong and that I certainly didn’t need a new roof. Woman backed into me in a parking lot, hitting me on the middle of the driver’s door. Both of us are insured by State Farm. When she got out of her car she said it was her fault and that she was distracted by her child. I filed the claim with State Farm. A few days later I received notice that my claim was denied.
