We had our wedding here this past weekend and it was fantastic. Jenny was amazing and so helpful through the whole planning process, the chefs created an amazing custom vegetarian menu that everyone loved, and the staff could not have been more wonderful.
We enjoyed our Christmas stay in the Pioneer cabins. It was really nice that we where able to bring our dogs with. Grateful that Starved Rock now has 3 cabins that allow dogs. And what a great surprise having a botttle of bubbly on ice waiting in the cabin! The staff was friendly and so hard working. It snowed and the staff worked almost around the clock to shovel sidewalks and plow the parking lot and roads. Our only suggestion would be to have pet friendly salt placed on the sidewalks in front of the designated pet cabins ... read more

1st time there. We stayed in the cabin. The cabin was nice and clean. The restaurant had great food. Our waitress Cindy went out and beyond in customer service.. There was a band playing that was really good and was pleasant to listen too. Thanks and I will be back.
Nice menu selection and reasonable prices and friendly staff.
Excellent Staff and atmosphere! Food is amazing, whether on the veranda or inside the lodge.
