Great food and service they have alot of food choices as well. Not to bad on prices and the brunch is awesome.

One of the better places I've had opportunity to eat a great meal and fellowship with family. This is an outstanding place!!
Been to the lodge many times, stayed in the cabins twice and ate several times. Cabins were always clean, staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is fabulous!! I really like the gated area for hotel guests as well. Keep doing what your doing!!
If you want or need anything beyond their bar food, you better get it before 5 pm. They advertise their homemade ice cream but again, you have to get it before 5 pm. The 2 stores on the premises close at 5. In fact, you have to drive quite a distance to find anything open past 9pm. My bathroom sink was not wiped down and crumbs that were on the carpet in my room when I checked in remained there throughout my stay. Ice machine near my room worked sporadically. We have been going to starved rock to celebrate our anniversary for the past 8 years and love it. So this year we decided not to camp but to stay in a cabin by the lodge I called in January and reserved a pet friendly room for July 4 weekend for 3 nights. We checked in and everything was fine until 9:00 that first evening. We had just ordered dinner outside at the lodge and were with our 2 small dogs listening to the band. We went there for a wedding and everything was so beautiful. We stayed in the lodge and our room was very nice. It was very clean and smelled very nice. The staff were all friendly. Very beautiful place.
