Awesome wedding at Starved Rock! Fiod was good, sites were awesome!
While we were visiting today with our family and 2 puppies we went to the waterfall and my puppy my husband n my niece slid n fell into a water hole and some good Samaritans jumped into help while other people were just recording it. They should have rails so this doesn't happen again.
We just came back from a two day trip to the lodge. We originally had a reservation in a Pioneer Cabin. It smelled and was dirty all around. (I'd recommend new flooring or sealing the flooring, updating the bathrooms, changing the bed cover between guests and cleaning the windows/blinds to whomever is in charge.) I still give the lodge 5 stars because they were apologetic, gracious and reassigned us to a room in the Lodge. We enjoyed the food emensley, the staff was great! Great attention to detail and to us! Great coffe and great omelet station oh my god the food was sinfull
Very cool place if you're looking to relax and go sightseeing nature. Bring comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting wet.
