We stayed overnight for the 2018 Country Showdown. Great time! Very friendly employees-we especially liked Cindy out on the Veranda! Good food. Very clean. Lots of activities-trolley rides, shows, kayaking, hiking, games, movies (they even have Netflix!) and more! This is the state park lodge to visit! Highly recommend!
Love it here!! Especially, if you like to hike and see special shows they offer!! The veranda is very nice in the summer!! Good specialty drinks!!
Went to the Meet the Beatles program in the afternoon on 7-9-18. Great time. Service and meal was great and the program was excellent.

We had our wedding here a year ago and returned for dinner on our anniversary. I love this place! Great food, lodge is fantastic, cozy atmosphere. The cabins are very nice too. I’d give it 6 stars any day!!
My son and his family was here from Florida Wanted his kids to see where he went when he was a kid We had a snack in the bar and him and the kids went out on the Veranda to look out at the trails It was an awesome adventure The kids loved it
Hiking for the day, staff was courteous, facility was clean trails were incredible!!! Highly recommended! we will be back soon!!!
Had a wonderful brunch yesterday for Father's Day. Food was topnotch! Our server, I regret I didn't get her name, was pleasant and efficient. She even was gracious enough to take our photo which is now my cover picture. Thank you!
Luv Starved Rock. Been there at least 20 times never a bad experience. Only thing ive never tried is tge cabins. Looks like fun.
