RecommendedWe spent the day and evening there. Hiking trails are well constructed and views are beautiful. Picnic areas are available. The lodge has a dining room and bar and grill area. The Sunday brunch in the dining room is popular. There is entertainment on the Veranda on selected evenings. Check these calendar online for more information.
Music on the veranda is a nice laid back experience!!
Really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Our 11 year old granddaughter said she doesn’t want to stay in hotels anymore, just lodges like this!

Great 5 star. Great value. A lot to do for all ages. Very clean and well run resort. We have been coming for the last 12 years to enjoy our Family reunion. Great staff.
Attended an outdoor wedding ceremony here yesterday. Although it was steamy hot weather, the ceremony was beautiful in the wooded setting, and the reception in the Starved Rock Room was lovely. We stayed one night in a lodge room, hotel wing, and the room was as expected. Looking forward to a fall or winter visit to explore the trails.
