We had our carpets cleaned last week. The professional that came was incredibly efficient and very personable. He explained everything and at no time did I feel like I was being pushed into buying something. I was very happy with the service. I will use them again.
they do a great job and were very professional. the people on the phone were also very informative, letting me know about other products & services that they offer.
I usually am impress by the job they do BUT this last time they said they sprayed deodorizer but I could not smell it.
The technicians showed up without all the equipment, thus making me late for an appointment. I was assured I would get a call from a manager regarding the problem no later than Tuesday . . It is now Sunday and still no call. A bit disappointing but not surprising as this is definitely no the first time that customer service follow up promises have not come to fruition. Wondering why I renewed my plan again. Ugh!
The staff called and was on time. They were friendly and they quickly went to work and finished in about an hour. This is the second cleaning in the year. The first cleaning was almost perfect. The areas that were most dirty cleaned almost like new. This time the result was no as good. Even though it had been less time since the first cleaning than before it, the areas of greatest dirt did not get fully clean. That is hard to determine when the carpet is still a bit wet. Arrived after I waited over an hour. Walked thru empty house, told me they couldn't get in corners, done in 45 minutes. Believe they prespotted. Honestly carpet looked better after we steam cleaned ourselves w rental machine.in the past I felt Stanley Steamer did an outstanding job, this time was just ok. Too fast, lots of marks from where furniture had sat. When I questioned, told me they did it.
The two guys walked me through the house and tried to tell me that the landing needed to be booked as a hallway and of course, for additional charge. They did not move furniture and the one bedroom carpet that they did do took forever to dry and again furniture was not moved! My carpets look NO DIFFERENT than when I called to schedule the cleaning! I will be going another direction when I have my carpets cleaned ~ I started to say, again ~ but I should say REDONE! Poor job!
Not impressed at all. A complete waste of $400. My carpet still looks like crap. It looks like they didn't even try. 2 guys, done in an under an hour. 3 bedrooms, a loft, stairs, and a kitchen. No way they should be finished in an hour. I should have just rented a Rug Doctor and did it myself. Would have come out looking so much better and saved me a bunch of money. Never again using Stanley Steemer.
