RecommendedI just want to take a minute to express my sincerest gratitude to ALL of the staff at St. Vincent’s Birmingham. They have absolutely just blown us away with their kindness and sincerity this weekend when taking care of my Dad. Everyone has been absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Between the nurses in CVICU, 5W, 7, and 5 Main, not to mention all of the wonderful dietary staff, and last but certainly not least, the doctors who we entrusted with his care. Thank you all so much!!! We will never forget you!!!
I had a hysterectomy on 8/22/19 and the staff at this hospital is the best by far! Dr. Megan Poston, my OB/GYN, made sure I was well informed of the procedure. From Dr. Michael Hale, anesthesiologist, to each nurse, Jeanette, Victoria and Claire, to the PCNs, Kristie, Elizabeth and Crystal, I was well cared for. Every staff member I encountered was kind, helpful and encouraging. My stay/care at STV Birmingham has made this necessary procedure better than expected.
my dad has been there for 9 days.. the nurses have been amazing. the communication has been horrendous from medical personnel. my dad is in there for heart issues, has been seen 3 times by a cardiologist. it's clear they do not care about elderly patients. only thing that matters is getting him out to make their length of stay look good. absolutely inhumane how he's been treated. praying his strength improves so we can get him to Grandview!!!!
This hospital is complete trash. From dirty bathrooms to not attending to the patients needs. But a religious hospital right ? I think not 😒

they dont care about how patients are treated at st vincents birmingham bc as of now i would never recommend this hospital to anyone. I have made several attempts to resolve my issues over the phone email and social media. its kills me that on social media you quickly respond and tell me to contact you and which i have via email or voicemail and no return on hospital end. I hope you can turn this hospital around bc the have discriminated against me, belittle me, discounted my feelings and selfworth
