Definately not impressed. I will continue to drive to Prattville or Alabaster from now on. I have been in the waiting room for over three hours. Two people that got here after me already went to the desk and told the receptionist they were leaving because they can't get help. This was the same probem we had with the old hospital. I had hoped for better care with this new beautiful buiding otherwise it was just a waist of money. Even after four people left an hour ago no one else got called back. Very frustrated. Grrrrr.
I was at the ER with my sister. The staff was great. While we were waiting on lab work to come back. The Tech, and Nurse key asking if we needed anything, or if we had any questions. All the staff was courteous and very informative. Thank you St Vincent's Chilton. I will recommend this hospital to everyone.
The father of my children had surgery & when they took him to surgery the nurse walked us to the waiting area & said someone will update you on what is going on during & after the surgery......We waited & no one came to tell us anything then I saw the Doctor in the parking lot getting in his truck & we went to the nurses station & they said they will try to find out something waited another 1 1/2 hours & my daughter went back to the nurses desk & he was in his room.....She was not a very happy camper at this point......Someb... read more
They got us in and out fairly quickly and the staff was extremely nice. I think this is very nice hospital.
