Very thankful for this hospital & staff! 💜 💙 The care my family has received while here has been absolutely Heaven sent! From the bottom of my heart, thank you St. Vincent Hospital! Keep up the great work. God bless 💜
It’s great!
My 6 month old was hospitalized because she was pulling her NG tube (that they put her on) 5 times or more a day. They had diagnosed her with gastroperesis. She has a history of silent aspiration on swallow studies and it has been determined thickened feeds were not safe due to it flowing into her lungs. However, they didn’t want to listen to me. I had to fight for 3 days to get another swallow study done. Of course the swallow study showed exactly what I said. Got sent home, none of the meds they keep putting her on are hel... read more
I was just released from your hospital last week. I was treated so well, that I felt like I was leaving my family when I was released. Everyone from the cleaning lady Regina to the great staff of nurses and respiratory therapy were so caring and supportive. I have nothing but praise for your hospital. Kattie the emergency room nurse, full of smiles and caring. The young man with the great smile who took me from emergency to my room, Eric, when I thanked him for his kind smile said, " I just think this could be my mom or gran... read more
Took my mom in for a UTI, she left in a near vegetative state. I have little hope of her recovery. I would think twice before entering the doors to this hospital. I do realize the complexities and nuances of running a hospital. However, this hospital's lack of interdepartmental communication and inability to listen to those who know her best is what put us here. My mothers current state of being is on St. Vincent's hands. My mother is not a number or just a chart, she is a human being with emotions. Not all humans are the sa... read more
thank u
Recently I went to the ER because I was suffering from pain likely from gout. Instead of doing bloodwork to determine it, they took x-rays and sent me away with pain meds and anti-inflammatories, saying my foot wasn’t swollen or red enough. I want to know why they didn’t do bloodwork to determine if I had gout. Waste of time!
Usually I like this hospital but at this moment I'm extremely unhappy. The poorest care I've ever seen from this hospital. I will be finding out who controls it and I will be making my point known.
