My mother died at this hospital years ago due to the lack of proper care. So 30 years later, my husband is sick and St Vincent's was the closet hospital, we have NO HOT WATER at the hospital. We have to have hot water bought to us in buckets to wash him up!! How much are you charging for this room again???
RecommendedWe have been patients here for almost twenty years. Being a senior citizen, I have extensive hospital experience. St. Vincent consistently delivers very high quality care with compassion and professionalism. I live over an hour away and will always drive extra to be cared for at St. V. Being discharged today after yet another wonderful experience filled with love and caring.
My daughter was admitted this morning for pneumonia then discharged within a couple hours...patient care at this facility is HORRIBLE!
Had to go to emergency and they decided to keep me a day or two for observation. Sat in emergency from 9:00am to 7:00pm waiting for a room. Next day/evening came for me to do MRI. Really scared me! Next day was told it was the wrong test, then told me I was the wrong patient! No real apology...just said mistakes happen. Patient Experience called me, and said since I didn’t die, or lose a leg, and the medicine put into my veins didn’t hurt me, I really was only inconvenienced for an hour or so, so they were doing nothing else... read more

my mother is sitting up there now. sick with pneumonia. the nurses forgot to take the order off that she could eat, so She's been sitting up there without nourishment. my brother told the doctor not to use the word cancer about a spot on her lung, which hasn't been diagnosed BUT THEY TOLD HER IT COULD BE CANCER.. Now my mother is worried sick at 87 she has cancer. years ago they gave my dad the wrong platelets and killed him now I guess they want mom to be with him!
