Took my daughter Sunday for severe head pain. The dr mocked me when I asked for a spinal tap. We are now at CHOA and guess what, she has a pseudotumor that would have been found had he done the test that he thought was ridiculous. This is the second bad experience in the ER we’ve had here. The first they didn’t realize my sons artery was totally severed and just stapled his arm and sent him home. Emory said he should have died but because of God he lived. Teach your staff to be more vigilant when people are concerned.
I’ve had many surgeries at St. Mary’s. I was born there and both my children were as well. Yesterday I had another surgery in the outpatient wing. Thanks to Maggie Brown and Sarah Stuckey Parkerson for taking such good care of me. Deanna Nunn was awesome at pre-op. Everyone on the staff was very helpful, cheerful and just plain nice. Thank you also to my favorite neurosurgeon, Dr. John Cuff. All of my experiences at St Mary’s have been full of care and positivity!!!
The ICU Team took wonderful care of my wife this past week. Ansley, Thomas, Amalia and a few others were so caring and gentle with her, and indeed to our family! I can't praise them enough for their thoroughness, their kindness, and thoughtfulness. Dr. Salazar and the other doctors were great and very gracious as well. Barbara and I are truly blessed to have had them care for her!
