RecommendedI spent 6 days in St. Mary’s with a very difficult labor and ultimately a complicated C-section delivery. Our baby boy was sent to the NICU. Every single step of the way the staff at St. Mary’s went so far above and beyond that I feel like I will never be able to truly thank them for all they did for me, my husband and our baby. I really do not think we would have survived had we been in a different hospital. After my son, the nurses of St. Mary’s will be the first thing I think the Lord for for many years to come.
RecommendedJune 18, 2018- Successful surgery at St Mary’s to remove lung cancer. Wonderful care from warm, caring, professional nurses and staff. Special thanks to my angels — Ansley in ICU and Marie Reece on 5th floor! And of course, Dr Maffei!
They botched my knee surgery due to the poor scheduleing and then they canceled my knee replacement. Stay away from this hospital. Meanwhile I am in pain.
My brother had a stroke and needed hospital level acute care and rehab. He does not have health insurance. St. Mary’s took care of my brother when no one else would. They worked with us on a payment plan which allowed him to receive the treatment needed to begin the recovery process. Thank you St. Mary’s!!!
I was charged $3,354.00 to use a CPAP machine for one night. This is not just outrageous it's criminal.
Oconee Heart and Vascular is part of the St Mary's Health Care System. I was recommended by St. Mary's to go to Oconee Heart. I called several times to make an appointment. I could not talk to a person. My call was answered by their answering service even though this was during normal business hours. After several days not getting an answer I had to physically go to the office to make an appointment. This has become a nightmare to deal with. Due to my A1C blood sugar test results, my doctor recommended I go to a class at St Mary's in diabetes management. I have now received a bill for $1,044 to sit in a class! My doctor says he would have never sent me there if he had any idea of what they charge. Since I have health insurance and it is in network, the billing office says I only owe $626. I wasn't enrolling in medical school!!
