Doctors single out the sickle cell community and treat us as if we are all addicts! Not just me and my close sc friends but there are 11 other sc patients that feel the same way! They totally lied in the news interview about making ALL patients that come in for pain, have to use the IV pain meds drip! When really they only make SC patients use the “sickle cell protocol” They should be focusing on the real Addicts! I wrecked a streetbike at 60-70mph and limping not once got offered a wheel chair. Made me walk. Never offered an And ibuprofen or Tylenol for pain, after I said multiple times I’m hurting. Will NEVER come back here even if I were dying. Thanks anyways 🤙🏼
