I'm from Rochester N.Y., my experience at St. JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL was ok my brother had open heart surgery and I thought they did a great job taking care of him. The hospital saved my brother's life and giving him great care, especially his recovery room nurse who explain everything to us in our language. Thank you St. JOSEPH'S
To add to my review rant on my horrible hip replacement: My husband took me to the ER because my breathing sounded like I was under water. The place was packed with seemingly little staff. We only saw 2 staff people (we saw, they saw us upon arrival) I waited in a wheelchair for 18 Hours! That's right 18 HOURS! My husband and I comforted other patients, Held their hands while they cried. Got them warm blankets and bought them water. We Prayed With Patients. Excellent all around! Couldn't have asked for a better place for my husband to be after his heart attack.
I would like to take the time to thank the staff in ICU and the first floor. The staff took care of my uncle, and family. when his status changed to comfort care the amount of care on the staffs part did not end there. The staff was efficient, thoughtful and dedicated. As a nurse I was proud of what I seen. You dealt with a very large grieving family with good humour and compassion. So from the bottom of my heart the Allen family thanks you.
