Very nice hospital! Realize this is a satellite hospital, and if they for some reason can not handle it Froedert in Milwaukee is not that far away. Love my St. Joe’s

I had a terrible experience during my four day stay. I gave birth to my son on the 8th the whole birth process was fine but the after care was horrible. I was not given social security paperwork and I am now dealing with no health insurance for my sick son. There were many tests taken multiple times for the answer to come back as good. I saw my nurses maybe 3 times at the max. I will never go here again this is my second time and it was even worse than the first.

I had a great OB but the majority of the nursing staff was horrible. It was a living nightmare. I told my nurse I felt gushing down my legs. she ignored me and told me its normal. IT'S NOT NORMAL. Finally the assistant nurse came in and asked if I needed new ice. I gave her my ice bag and saw a river of blood and blood clots. she called the Dr. and then the nurse. the nurse rolled her eyes at me as if I was an inconvenience. her attitude changed once the Dr. got to my room and then the charge nurse. It gets worse from here i... read more

So is it your policy for doctors to not pay attention to charts or medication or anything? My mother was accused of being a druggie by one of your doctors. She came in for abdominal pain and told everybody she doesn't take any pain medication, even Tylenol. The nurse got it and said she was gonna give her a smaller dose of pain meds and mom not only didn't ask for more but said she hated it. The doctor however just blew her off and said she's constipated "which happens when you take to many narcotics" so she didn't check my ... read more

I'm currently waiting in the waiting room, for the past halfhour. the receptionists are the worst and the Triage nurse rushed me just so she could get to another patient. I'm a patient just as much as any other patient is and I deserve the same respect. the receptionist and triage nurse was horrible.. I hope my experience in the actual er is better then this waiting exeperience.... UPDATE: I left cuz I was waiting un the er for 55 min. with two people who came in after me, who got to go in front of me. as I went out to car, ... read more

I walked into St. Joe last Saturday on the verge of death. I had no idea why the antibiotics and steroids my PCP prescribed weren’t helping. The staff swooped me up, addressed every issue I could mumble, and immediately sprung into action. Without a doubt, they saved my life. The steroids had a negative effect on my health and caused my blood sugars to elevate to life-threatening levels. I was in hospital for 5 days and not once did I feel as though my concerns weren’t heard and addressed. The doctors, nurses, techs, and aid... read more

The emergency department was very rude. We had to wait 45 minutes just to be seen for an abscessed tooth at 4:00 p.m. They kept saying your next & kept taking other people first. Finally got back then sat in room for 45 minutes more just to have a 10 minute doc to come in & pop the abscess. Very disappointing.

My triage nurse Ginger was awesome and helpful. My PA Phil was amazing. He made me feel so comfortable as I was terrified of having stitches. He made this hospital trip a breeze!

Was sent there with advance notice from an urgent care doctor from Aurora (Gateway Ct. location) and then was told I would have to wait for over an hour to be seen in the ER. That's really piss poor treatment. I walked out and left. Your hospital/staff/care sucks and has treated me terribly more than once.
