Absolutely Excellent food, service, environment! Only drawback was snooty receptionist on 12/8 who hung up when I asked her to wait just a second so I could confirm with the rest of our party. The the next one who answered the phone told us they were booked up that night and the next night but we got a reservation online just after being told that. Normally we would’ve passed after something like that but hated to miss the experience.
Love St Elmo’s !!! Favorite place in Indy to eat.
Very nice place and the meal was excellent, great friends and wine !! Pricey but it is what u pay for along with the history! Live the shrimp cocktails!!
Never seems to disappoint! Food is always spectacular! Service is always great!! Our filets were so tender you didn't even need a knife.
Had the special 60 day aged ribeye. It was awesome!! The cocktail sauce has a ton of horseradish, be warned. May want to get it on the side. Great waiter. Awesome service!!
Started the evening with an old fashioned and the shrimp cocktail. Had the dry aged ribeye (special item) with the chopped blt salad, baked potato, and opted for the navy bean soup. We sat at the bar as the dining room was all booked up. Great service at the bar, drinks made to perfection, and food absolutely on point. This is the epitome of the classic american steakhouse done right!
EXCELLENT service and all of the food was DELICIOUS!!! We had a truly ENJOYABLE experience and will DEFINITELY eat here again👍🏻Brett was our server and was very personable and helpful with the menu, making suggestions, as it was our first time there.Brett was courteous and prompt and we wanted for nothing as he was so attentive. We highly recommend eating at St Elmo- you will be glad you did! We ordered off the less expensive Appetizer menu, there is also a dinner menu. Lots of choices/ variety. My husband LOVED the shrimp... read more
Went very early for Big Ten Championship to sit in the bar. It was freezing the entire time that we were in there. I asked if they could turn heat up (as most folks in there had coats on and hands in pockets). The bartender just blew me off. I asked again an hour later as every one around me was cold, too. This bartender warms it up like no big deal. We do our shrimp, salads, ect and it's just fine. Then the $55 filets were cold; one overcooked. It was not great meat. Stringy and uneventful. Just disappointed after a $400 da... read more
After reading the reviews I had high expectations. The customer service was great, but the food was average. Wouldn’t go there again.
