The service was excellent, however I was brought out rare pork chops. I know medium is acceptable now, and quite safe, raw is not. In the dimmly lit dining room I am a little worried about what I ate before I noticed. They took them back without any fuss and offered me new ones. I just had them grill the ones I had a little longer and it came back good. A manager came out and was pleasant but hurried. The food was good after that. My wife's food was perfect. One of the best places I have had the experience of eating.

This is not a restaurant for people who are fussy and picky. This is meat. Rare. Thick. And yes, expensive. If you don't like spicy food, avoid the shrimp cocktail, because it's world famous for a reason. The sides are great. Potato in any form is a good choice. I go for the baked potato and they pile on the toppings. The waitstaff is as respectful and as kind to you as you are to them. So of course I had to try the famous shrimp cocktail and it lived up to the hype. If you like horseradish and spicy food this is a must have. (My mouth is literally watering just typing this). Our steaks were absolute perfection and the king crab leg macaron was to die for. Great service, beautiful atmosphere and outstanding food. This is now one of my favorite restaurants.

My wife and I go every year for our anniversary. We have never had a bad experience it does get loud every now and again! The waitstaff is wonderful and if you find one you like you can let them know and they will add it to your notes and next time if they are working you will get them.
