Great food and great service! Never mind then1 star review from the same time stamp as this one, they were really stuck up and almost rude to the staff, they were at the table behind us. Who is going to fry up a completely new product when the first one would need just a touch more? Come on... keep your feet on the ground
Hmm. I was served fish raw in the centre. Instead of cooking a new one they threw the raw one back in the fryer for a bit and brought it back again. This is frankly unacceptable and possibly against food hygiene procedures. Is this a matter of training, quite possibly and certainly something I will be asking environmental health. Aside from this, the welcome was warm enough, and the menu is refreshingly traditional, however portions are not generous and there seems an over reliance on the deep fat fryer and microwave. Breakfast Club Ale was very nice Nice little pub with a restaurant and a separate bar. Had a couple of Ales on draught and a good menu for food
Good food and service - lots of choice
What a fantastic village pub, with proper home cooked and tasty food, the landlords Steve & Sarah are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, we will definitely be back when we are in the area again. 5 stars
