Now a Youth hostel. St Briavel Castle has a rich history and is fairly well kept, needs a bit of work to get rid of the emergency scaff and heras fence. Has an ancient church next door with graves from the 1600s Lots of volunteers in the village keeping it's beautiful essence and community vibes. Go get a delicious week priced cake from the pantry
Lovely evening in the gardens watching much ado about nothing. Relaxing village and great pub.
stayed for 1 night and was really lovely. they were showing a play that we could watch.
