I've had 3 surgeries (some time ago) and yesterday my best friend had spinal surgery. The staff has been spectacular. Every time, very caring and devoted nurses. THANK YOU so much and God bless!
Seriously all these bad reviews? Shaking my head ... I have taken my son, a Wounded Warrior 4 different times to the ER with one visit ending in an admission. He and I have always encountered a friendly, compassionate and very knowledgeable staff. Sorry others have had bad experiences. However; Spring Valley Hospital is my choice.
My Mom entered via the ER that experience was good then moved to Observation cubical for two more days. Told she was being admitted this morning at 10am it is now almost 4pm the charge nurse is in a meeting and Moms nurse won't call the doctor. I'm a nice person but I'm not happy with the care she is Not receiving here. Much longer and I'm gong to be a problem!!!!
Day one and they have already let my 80 year old Mother fall... the nursing staff and physical therapist are clueless.
I am beyond upset with the treatment and care that i have been getting in here! The staff and Doctor have a horrible attitude and they could care less about me puking for hours. I've tried talking with a charge nurse even to try and get better care... But no one has helped.
I'm currently leaving this HELL HOLE AMA. I have never been in a worse hospital! I have been here since noon yesterday and they will not give me anything to eat. Had to beg for water, Kleenex and general care. They told me that the doctor said I can't have any food but they won't say why. The only good thing was when I was trying to get to the bedside toilet, alone, felt something in my back pop and hurt so bad I almost hit the ground, but today I can walk. HAVE SOMEONE WITH YOU PRE-OP, POST-OP TO HELP SPEAK UP FOR YOU ,TO ADVOCATE FOR YOU ,THESE ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT TIMES ESPECIALLY POST-OP A FEW HOURS AFTER SURGERY WHEN THE PAIN IS THE WORST.I WAS ALONE AND IN WORST PAIN I'VE EVER FELT IN MY LIFE YELLING & SCREAMING FOR HELP ,BUT THE NURSE ACTED LIKE I WAS LYING .I HAVE BEEN SCARRED FOR LIFE FROM THE TORTURE I WAS PUT THROUGH ,I TRUSTED THAT THE NURSES,CNA's ,ECT.WOULD HELP ME .I WAS WRONG! & DISGUSTED BY THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IN THAT HOSPITAL
