We went to universal studios the day before and all we want was to rest and sleep late,by 7 am they had someone snaking the drain lines. I called front desk they never answer or apologies, horrible customer service.... never coming back again

The staff were very attentive and courteous. Breakfast was ok. That’s where the good experience ends. The hotel is dirty... like, dirty walls and floors, old paint with patches all over the place. To be blunt, the hotel is old and nasty. Renovations are sorely needed from top to bottom (although the main lobby seems updated, the rest of the hotel is just plain gross).

I’ve been going to the Sportsmens lodge for decades. It has always been wonderful. The banquet facilities at the lodge are awesome.

Our Annual LA Retired Firemen & Police Christmas party, 450 members. Food, steak w/mushroom was excellent, very tender. Cooked perfectly. Great DJ. He is so much fun. Missed him last year. Dessert, chocolate mousse cake, yummy. Service was great.

I definitely enjoyed my stay here. While this hotel is not brand new , it definitely has lots of charm. My room was clean and comfortable. Had some great cocktails by the pool and a great lunch in the restaurant. Close to a lot of great things in the area as well.
