It was very easy to book an appointment through the website, and worth noting that payment was after the treatment. Ciaran was excellent in diagnosing my running-related knee issue, but also explaining things in as much detail as I wanted. This gave me a clear understanding of what had happened and why, which in turn made the rehab program make sense. The rehab exercises were demonstrated in the gym area and emailed to me the same day with no pressure to go for a second visit unless I need to. Highly recommended.
Ciaran is brilliant! He really helped me with my back injury but what impressed me even more was his holistic approach. He didn’t just focus on the pain, he looks at the bigger picture and addressed my other issues too. His rehab plans are really tailored to your needs and I felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire process. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone who really knows their stuff!
I've had really excellent support this year from Piro at Sports Therapy Edinburgh. For context, I'm not an athlete, just a regular middle-aged person with reasonable activity levels. I had a damaged meniscus in my right knee, making it very difficult and painful to use stairs or do many other basic things. After several sessions, and progressing through the custom exercise programme Piro developed for me, my knee is back to normal.
