Lovely venue, great location, but was freezing cold , sat in front of a stunning fire place with log burner that wasn't on. The main function area was also freezing cold! There was no heating on anywhere , apart from the toilets! Sat there shivering waiting for our food to arrive, Not Good! Lots of guests saying the same thing. We'd had enough by 8pm , couldn't stand the cold anymore, even my feet were freezing cold, So left to go get warm . This was in November. Such a shame really, as I said, lovely place etc . We knew the moment we pulled into Spicer Manor at our visit that it was the venue for us. The grounds are well maintained and the house itself - wow! You could stay in any room and not be disappointed, they were all incredible and designed perfectly. Every guest who stayed on site was really blown away by the fantastic accommodation. We had the luxury package and added an extra night on to stay and relax after the wedding which was a brilliant edition. What can I say…! Spicer Manor was the best venue we could have chosen for our wedding. It was the most magical weekend and I honestly don’t think they could be more helpful and welcoming. We felt at home instantly and they thought of every little detail of our day to ensure it was perfect (which it was) I hope I get to attend more weddings there just to visit the venue again. My husband and I can’t put into words how grateful we both are for the team at Spicer Manor. Our wedding day was everything we had hoped for and so much more. Stacey, our wedding coordinator, was so supportive throughout the entire process, was always on hand to ensure our day ran smoothly and went the extra mile to add personal special touches to our day. Absolutely stunning venue. Travelled over 400 miles round trip for a wedding here and honestly, would recommend it. Beautiful setting, gorgeous location, the staff were amazing too. 'Stunning' doesn't even do the venue justice
