I heard about Dr. Spencer from a friend, who said he was one of the top doctors for shoulders in the country. I was unable to lift my arm from an armrest to a table top.I went to another orthopedic first who said I had to have surgery to repair the bicep..I went for a second opinion and met with the PA Jeff Jarnigan. I went to Dr Spencer for a frozen shoulder that was horribly painful. He came in and introduced himself in such a gentlemanly manner. When he injected my shoulder , I didn’t even feel a thing . WOW! He knows his business and my arm is no longer in pain. He’s my forever orthopedic Dr!!

Dr Spenser was great with my shoulder PRP injection! It was a much better option than surgery. Great team!

Dr. Spencer removed a bone spur in my left shoulder over 15 years ago. He did an awesome job so when I started having a lot of pain with my right shoulder there was no question who I wanted to see!

Dr. Spencer replaced my right shoulder in 2007. After years of sports and being active I saw Dr. Spencer for my left shoulder. I needed a replacement and Dr. Spencer did it. Very little pain and discomfort. PT was painless. I was back in the gym in 3 weeks, cardio. A month out and I'm back to normal activities. Dr. Spencer is caring and talks to you as a person. Both my experiences with Dr. Spencer. I would not go to another orthopedic surgeon. He has a wonderful staff too.

Dr Spencer was an amazing surgeon. He did my shoulder and I haver had great results. His bedside manner was excellent. The staff was also great. I have had great follow up visit as well. My questions are always answered. I woi\uld highly recommend Dr Spencer.

Dr. Spencer removed his bandana "mask" during my office visit, and was offended when I didn't want to shake hands due to COVID. This practice does not appear to take the pandemic seriously. I tried to address it with someone in their administration, who claimed it had already been addressed with the doctor. This can't be true - I hadn't left the details of my interaction in my phone message. Perhaps the corporate culture encourages a lax attitude towards safety. Please avoid this place.

Im basically screwed now after dr. Spencer parted ways with me after my 5th shoulder surgery. He only done my last one, but in the months leading up to him parting ways with me, said i still have instability and ac joint arthrosis. Offered me a shoulder fusion but didn't suggest having it done. My workers comp tried to get me back in with him. But he will not see me, and now no other doctor wants to see me. Dr Spencer has done both shoulders for my husband. In my opinion he’s a great doctor. He’s very kind and really concerned about getting you back to no pain. His assistant, Jeff Jarnigan is hilarious and very knowledgeable as well. I know for sure that if I ever have any shoulder problems I would definitely go to see Dr Spencer and know he would take great care of me. I highly recommend him!
