Awesome efficient spay neuter serbice
Great facility, caring and honest staff, easy adoption process.
Beautiful facility that is designed to be less 'shelter like', I wish all shelters had the money to provide such a space. The dog, cat, and small animal areas are separated, but the critters can interact with their own species if appropriate. All of which, I believe, is less stressful for all the critters. The staff and volunteers are dedicated and caring individuals who want the very best for each and every critter that walks thru their doors.
I was a volunteer then an employee back in 2001-2003. I adopted a kitten and a dog while there. The kitten is now almost 14 and the dog is 17+. We love our shelter pets and especially the SPCA love that brought them to us! ❤️
Awesome place. I hope it’s years before I return to find a new furry friend, but this is where I’ll go
I tried to adopt a bunny but was turned away for a number of pointless reasons. I have a family member veterinarian on call 24-7, am a state approved wildlife rehabber, and have experience in caring for sick/injured rabbits. It is sad when shelters prefer to let other animals get euthanized just to make sure their animals go to homes that are perfectly aligned with their trivial "values".
This is a very nice place. So clean and they take very good care of their animals. The animals are not in cages and you can play with them. This way you can see if you like each other. We adopted our cat a few month ago. I think she picked us, she walked to us and checked us out and we're so happy with her.
I got my forever friends here!! Love this shelter!
Absolutely no notification by phone or e-mail, that their spay/neuter clinic had closed. We had an appt. in two days and I'm really glad I just happened to go to their website and click on their spay/neuter clinic. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
