Great place! Very clean, inviting and friendly.
My husband and I Tried to adopt a pet and couldn’t get to the facility until we got off of work. Walked in 20 mins before closing and they turned us away. They told us to come back another day, we explained that with work schedules we would always come at the same time. They basically, very abruptly explained that we have no other options to adopt then. Poor animals that can’t be picked up in time because workers just want to get home. 10 mins could have helped the little critters....
We has great experience meeting cats and kittens and ended up adopting 2 brothers. You can tell the staff and volunteers really love what they do and love the animals. Very clean and organized.
As a volunteer and supporter of the SPCA, I know first-hand the amount of work and dedication that goes into the lives of these animals. I have never met a more loving, caring work and volunteer staff than the people at this organization. There are constant trainings, charitable events, and children's activities to keep a positive connection to the community. It is a modern, clean, welcoming environment with lots of cuddly fur babies to choose from (I have one of my own!). I am grateful for the opportunity to work with these... read more
Thank you for allowing me to become Taylor(now Tiffany)’s mom October 2004. Tiffany is Sweet 16 today!😻💗
I am highly disappointed at the owner screening process of the Wake Co SPCA. I realize, they have to take people's word for things but when a dog known to not be good with children is allowed to attack a child on its' adoption day and then re-rescued by SPCA, after its quarantine, to be pawned off on someone else; that's just unethical!
Recently adopted the most adorable sweetest cat from SPCA. Cat was rescue from Virginia rescue after being abandoned by his family and had also been shot with BB's. He's got the best indoor behavior and a great companion pet!
I visited your facility recently and I was very impressed. The staff and volunteers were very helpful, caring and informative. The animals appear to be loved and well taking care of. Thank you for all you do to find these babies a forever home.
Wake County SPCA made the adoption process a breeze. So glad I adopted my furrever friend from them💛
