Great experience today at the Wake County SPCA! It was Clear the Shelters Day and we were adopted by a little black kitten we named Shadow Louise.There were a ton of people there, but the volunteer staff were super friendly and helpful despite the massive influx of people.
We adopted our wonderful dog from here on September 23, 2018, and we could not be happier with her and the support we received from the Wake County SPCA in the process of adopting her. Thank you so, so much for the work you do every day to make sure these pets go to loving homes.
I brought home my puppy the same day I fell in love with him! He was in great health, neutered, shots, microchipped and a very clean place. Highly recommend.

Adopt, rescue, foster, donate!
I went along with my sister and my niece as they have been wanting a dog. I couldn't imagine a more pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knew everything about each individual dog! I would definitely reccomend the SPCA if you are wanting a new pet.
