Yesterday I went in to look at 2 cats - Aslan & Elf, to possibly bring one home. The staff was awesome, the cats were happy (& the rooms were so clean), & it was all-around amazing. I decided to bring home Elf, now named Cheddar Cheese (my almost 5 year old is in love) & I'm so happy I chose to adopt from the SPCA. I had a chance to talk to the woman who brought Elf in & it really helped solidify my choice & he is exactly how she described him! I drove almost an hour and stood outside in the cold for about 20 minutes to adopt a puppy that they posted a picture of on December 24. When we got inside, we were told the puppy was adopted last week! Seriously?!? Nothing was posted regarding that all 4 puppies had been adopted, nothing! Shady tactics to get people in to adopt. Honesty returns people, not deliberate dishonesty
They were very helpful when I came to meet (and adopt) our little black kitten.
Our sweet Ruthie came from here! She is a wonderful dog and we feel blessed to have her! The SPCA did a great job with the adoption paperwork and getting her ready to come home to her forever home after she was spayed.
