I had a wonderful stay in Southwell, to catch up with my daughter who’s at Uni there. Lavender cottage was beautiful and really cosy, even in the cold snap. It’s only a few minutes walk from the centre of Southwell which is a lovely place. Rebecca’s communication was faultless, and made us feel very welcome. Her attention to detail was great and the cottage fulfilled all our needs. I’m only sorry that we weren’t indoors long enough to justify lighting the fire. We wil definately be back.
What a lovely place to spend a few days! We were visiting Southwell to go to a wedding then stay on for a 69th birthday celebration. Rebecca came to welcome us shortly after our arrival and provided a wealth of local knowledge whilst making us feel like we were old friends. We exchanged a number of text messages over our stay and she was so helpful. The cottage was wonderful, everything we might have needed had been thought of and the breakfast basket was incredible. We have stayed at Lavender Cottage in Southwell twice and both times have been excellent. Rebecca is a super host. The accommodation included a breakfast hamper and personalised gifts for our young children. The cottage was perfect for our visits to Southwell, located around 5 minutes walk from Southwell Minster and centre of town with its shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well - thankyou!
