09/11/2024 - visited the railway for the first Diesel Gala held there in 5 years. Enjoyed the morning travelling behind Class 04 & 25 locomotives, although one of the class 25's did fail late morning. The railway however, reorganised the rota reasonably quickly, and the day moved on. The staff were helpful, and kept the travellers updated as soon as they were able.
Saturday 25th October 2025. Good fares, nice journey. Pleasant and efficient staff and volunteers. An enjoyable experience.

W Buckfastleigh na stacji dodatkowo do zobaczenia jest małe muzeum z lokomotywami, a w sklepiez pamiatkami obok makieta z poruszającymi się pociągami.
Wonderful trip from Totnes to Buckfastleigh well kept stations and lovely cafe.
