We like to visit Dolgellau every year, and have been looking for that special bolt hole to call home for the week…well we certainly found it in Bryn Hyfryd! What a gem, perfect in so many more ways than we had anticipated. Location, comfort, style, well equipped…and that view! We really looked forward to going back to the cosy space after some time exploring the glorious outdoors that Dolgellau offers. Great place to stay, both the property itself and the location.
Brilliant week in September, don’t usually post reviews but felt compelled to convey our thoughts to others who may be considering a stay here. The bungalow is renovated to a high standard with plenty of modern appliances and equipment. Internal decor tasteful, comfortable beds and first class shower. The outside space is stunning and cleanliness throughout superb. The digital guide provided is easy to use and very helpful, providing practical information to enhance your holiday in this beautiful part of Wales.10/10
My wife and I had a lovely stay in Bryn Hyfryd during the first week in September 2025. Craig and Rosie have put a lot of effort into providing a very cosy and well-equipped holiday home which is spacious providing everything you will need for a self-catering holiday. Cyclists are well provided for with a large secure bike shed to store your bikes in and the Mawddach cycle trail is in easy reach just across the road from Bryn Hyfryd. Snowdonia Getaway is located in an excellent position to reach the southern attractions of the national park. The property is spacious and set in beautifully tended grounds - we very much appreciated using the deck and enjoying the peaceful views and the gardens were a really special feature of the property.
