I dont know where I should even begin, I can write a book about the aweful experience we have had and are still dealing with! Bottom line, I would never reccomend purchasing a boat from, or having smith boys service anything!
Bad, bad, bad!!! Had my boat 54 days and did not complete the job. They dropped in 2batteries, which I bought before hand, and started the boat. They then charge me 324.00. Because the boat had not seen the water in 4 yrs. I could not trust their work, so I left Smith Boys w/ boat and took it right to Brewerton Boat Yard. What a difference in service and respect to me as a customer!!! Do not take your boat to Smith Boys! This is a warning.
My family and I have been going to Smith Boys for about 5 years now and we have always have had a great experience with all the workers at Smith Boys. But the past few times we have been using the launch to launch our jet skies to ride behind our boat, we have had issues. While using the launch the past couple of times, the guy that runs the forklift for the boat in and out service has been rude and yesterday he even screamed at us to get out of the way while we where backed into the launch. Our family rented a party boat last Monday (all 11 of us!) It was our first time ever renting a party boat for a family excursion and with such precious cargo. We were a little nervous, of course, but Smith Boys and staff could not have been more welcoming, accommodating and helpful. From start to finish our experience was first class. I would highly recommend them. Special thanks to Larry and Eileen for the great care you gave us!
If anyone needs their boat serviced or a place to dock a boat, I HIGHLY recommend Smith Boys Marina in NT. Smith Boys hands down, exceeds all expectations from boating advice to their service department! As a new boater I couldn't have picked a better place to link up with!
