The most Freeing, Liberating, Effective "Way" evolving far beyond antiquated, anachronistic & Mostly Obsolete-popular, (sometimes "kind," w/an undercurrent of intolerance-having the "only way" approach).. But-rapidly diminishing, late 30's Cultish 'recovery systems". We need evolutionary SMART Recovery to "get-on-with-out-lives, in Freedom..!

So love the Smart Recovery CBT approach to recovery. It's much better for me than NA
It is a program which works and is quite different from 12th Step!
I think, from what I read, that it is an updated and comprehensive program for recover from addictive behavior. I am 38 years sober through AA and am interested in learning more about Smart Recovery to see if there is more that I can do in two phases of my life: Learn ways, if I don't already know them, to cement my sobriety and also to be of help to others, if I find that possible.
Very guilt-free just folks who are going thru/have gone thru what you are.
