SMART Recovery is exactly what I was looking for, amazingly I didn't have to look far. Online meetings gave me a CHOICE, which is what this nut and bolt woman needed. I couldn't seem to swallow being told, or admitting I was powerless. Hence I was the square that wouldn't fit into the normal circle of 12 step recovery programs. Hello my name is pat and I am a recoverd addict with 3 years 10 months sober. And with a problem in my marriage that I cant seem to fix or be of any help. This really hurts me and dont know what I am doing. But I gave her an alltamaytom (spellng eror) thatif she dont ge help in 3 months I have to separate. I think thou we just need help.
The best recovery program I have ever experienced with the science, skills, tools, techniques and learning involved they are a wonderful recovery program for all aspects of recovery including mental health support!!!
SMART Recovery is a great option for anyone with alcohol or drug over use issues. I am glad to see it is growing. It helped me deprogram when I left AA.
