I had a contract sent to me. I revised and never responded. They kept calling me to get the oil delivered. I NEVER REQUESTED to have oil delivered, never had a delivery made by them and when I called back their secretary said they are not asking me, they were telling me they are coming to fill up my tank & if I postpone more than 3 times they will mail me a $500 bill. Theyre super nice when they wanna sign you up. The man told me that they would only fill 150 gallons of my 270 gallon tank because I would not be able to afford a full delivery. They made a full delivery and are not letting me pay it off. They were so nice trying to get me as a customer and as soon as they had me, they turned into complete jerks. I have had Slomins for 3 years now and never had a burner issue..then my burner started blowing off hot water from the pressure relief valve..I called for service to replace the valvethey came and replaced it. Then I get a bill in the mail for $391.00.this valve is covered under my contract but they say no the part you can buy yourself at ********** is only $14.50 and took the service man 15 minutes to replace it but they say they will get back to me I spoke to several people that pretty much have no knowledge of how a burne... read more
Give oil you don't need Charge ridiculous prices My oil tank was full and they claim they put oil in the tank Charging me $600 They are more expensive than most oil companies
Terrible Company that doesn't care about their customers. I was an alarm customer for 5 years and they had the nerve to charge $90 to enable the monitoring to keep active, even though the cause for this was their fault and I had a contract guaranteeing monitoring.Also, the oil prices are arbitrary and high. Also, their customer service people are rude and obnoxious.
Purchased a oil contract Sold my house with 2 months left on the contract My new town house has forced electric heat I called them to tell them I sold my house and ************ has forced electric heat They are forcing me to pay ****** for cancelling contract !I told them if I was able to take them to ************ I would but its not possible and under these specific circumstances a consideration should be made !
Be warned, this is a dangerous and thuggish company. They will force you to take oil, even if you don't want it, charge you for it, and then charge you 500 bucks extra on top of it if you do not pay...the oil will stay in your tank all year, cause damage to your tank and boiler, and ******** will charge you to fix it...
They really deserve a 0 rating. They had a commercial on the radio for an advertised price of **** a gallon. When I reviewed my contract it read ****!!! Too late to change it after the fact. I bought a service contract which stated they would do an annual PM, that never happened! They advertise theyre available 24 hrs a day, NOT true! I called for issues they caused by overfilling the tank. I thought my house was going to explode because it smelled so bad from the spill. I was told by customer service to TURN OFF my boiler!!... read more
Typical shysters Had me sign a contract when oil prices were high for 500 gallons I only used 50 and paid for that at time of delivery Sold house let them know to sell oil to new owner or new people Never took another delivery Now this unethical company has a civil lawsuit against me I have no intention of giving them money for product never received To make matters worse they most likely sold this reserve at a higher amount to another customer and are now trying to collect on me Typical grifters
