this institution is a joke.... people aren't allowed inside, except by appointment and only for specific things.... there was some crackhead hanging out at the drive thru tubes at the Marion location, leaned against them, watching People's transactions, and they did nothing.... called them, and they acted like it was someone just doing business.... watched em, because I was stuck waiting for about 15 min in line before I could get to the drive up, walk from the lot at O'charleys and stand around the drive up, walk back to hi... read more

Better customer service and support
seriously takes FOREVER have been sitting in line for 45 minutes, and only one lane open, this has been an issue WAY before this pandemic started!
I have been a customer for nearly 20 years with SIU CU and never thought I would say anything bad about this institution, but I will not use them for anything in the future. I had the branch manager lie to me about my credit score and turn me down on a loan. I pulled my credit score to ensure it was a mistake and my credit score is 200+ points higher than the manger tried to convince me. It'd be nice if they could function and atleast mimic a real bank. Not a fan of my paycheck being held constantly, denied for loans over ridiculous reasons, and the fact I can't access a physical location on a saturday. Oh, and the ATM blows. Takes me a minimum of 15 minutes to do anything. Constantly removing and reinserting my card. You have to time this just right too or it won't work. The ATM sucks.
Lied to me about my accounts, don’t trust them.
