I was recommended Simpson Jones by a friend. I have to say that buying a house is a really stressful experience and they did everything on my behalf. The sellers solicitor was really difficult to deal with and wasn't very responsive. The staff at Simpson Jones chased several times a day to get the process moving. They also stayed late on a Friday night to get my contract exchanged. They are very thorough and translate everything for you into a report for ease to understand. I wouldn’t recommend! We chose these solicitors as we were purchasing properties and they were already working with another party of the same property so we thought it would speed things up. Unfortunately, It’s been over a year and a half of dealing with them and still not finished. I should’ve seen the warning signs at the very start when they sent me a draft copy of the contract with the ‘other party’s’ full name and details. Joanna Jones takes time to oversee the process and is often available herself . Otherwise we spoke with a very helpful member of the team named Cat . Elly and the team have been dealing with my property transfer. One word.. Excellent, they worked hard and navigated me through the whole situation with ease and professionalism.
