WORST SERVICE EVER! On the loading end, the movers spent much of their time on their phones and fighting with each other. One of the guys was smaller than most of my furniture and could barely help. They wasted a significant amount of my time and money. On the unloading end, 1 mover showed up an hour late and the 2nd mover NEVER SHOWED! SML contracts directly with Labor Ready...a service you can contract yourself. They do not staff their own movers. They are simply a middle man willing to make a profit off of your move. If you looking for professional movers this is not the company. If you looking for simple labor help...then go straight to Labor Ready because that's all SML will do for you. Unbelievable. It pains me that i even have to give them 1 start to complete this review.

Loaders showed up 15 minutes early and did a great job (they even waited for 6 hours on the truck which was Penske's fault) . I couldn't reschedule due to the move had to be made by the next morning. There wasn't any damage during the loading or the 650 mile trip through the mountains. I would highly recommend them!!

BAD EXPERIENCE!!! They took my deposit, and then called me SIX WEEKS later because they JUST realized that they will be closed that day. This was the Boston location. Obviously very poorly run. BEWARE!!

This was our first time hiring movers and it was a terrible experience. We hired them to load our Penske truck. There was a problem with dispatch, they guys didn't even show up the day they were supposed to. Next day, they were an hour late. They did a terrible job loading the truck and almost all of our furniture was damaged. When I called the dispatch office (on a Sunday) to ask what we were supposed to do once we started unloading and noticed damage, he got rude and called me a liar.

Have moved 7 times in 37 years of marriage and wish we had called SML way before this move! The two guys who came to our home hussled and moved the entire time they were there. We offered breaks, "No , we are fine." They worked a hard 3 hours. 5 stars +!

We used simple moving labor to load and unload our penske truck. Both sets of movers were on time and efficient. The dispatcher called through out the process to check up on how things were going with the move. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

This was the first time I've hired movers and this was the worst move of my life. I will never use Simple Moving Labor. I booked the service as the customer service agent at the Penske Truck Rental asked me if I wanted to book movers as well. This was a mistake. The crew arrived 4 hours late-- the dispatch called around the initial arrival time and told me that the crew was unavailable at the time that I booked them.
