Checking in for an appointment this morning , An elderly lady was calmly waiting two in front of me , eventually her turn came and she asked the receptionists if it was possible that anyone could quickly see her as she had fallen over and hurt her head ,pointing out at the same time that she knew that minor injuries were seen at the Beacon but on the off chance somebody could perhaps help until she made her way up to the top of town , the two receptionists both informed her that minor injuries were dealt with at the Beacon ,... read more
We visited as a temporary patient and saw Caroline, the nurse. She was so professional, kind and patient- explaining everything to my son as she went, to reassure him and inform him about what she was doing. Really impressed with the treatment we received.
Please is there any way of finding another system of answering the darn phones.....29 minutes I was waiting, which is a huge long time when I am trying to get my very confused, 95 yo mum medical assistance. Once through though, the nurses and doctors are pretty wonderful. It's just when we need their skills and knowledge, we need it quickly. We know there are too few medical centres for so very many patients...if only we could change that and have more surgeries...we can only hope eh.
Always pleasant, patient and take time to deal with your enquiry despite the service being extremely busy
Very helpful and thoughtful- despite the huge work pressure they're under.
