Saturday evening I discovered that my dumbo rat Nazumi had decided to chew off part of a tumor/cyst on his back that I had just scheduled surgery for later in the week. Luckily, Shores was open & always has an "exotic pets" veterinarian on staff. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable & the facility itself was very nice. Thank you so much for helping my little guy! He's recovering from his surgery well.

No emergency trip is good, but the staff was so friendly, welcoming, and above all, knowledgeable. The facility itself is immaculate. I would highly recommend Shores. It is indeed top-notch.

I brought my very sick cat to the ER knowing she needed to be put down, but had difficultly coming to terms with it. Dr. Miller and the entire team were bar none. I was very distraught — they were all wonderfully understanding and allowed me to focus on what I was experiencing and let me decide what was needed with their advice. As we move through our grieving process, a day later, we get a sympathy card with our darling Dipper’s paw print. First class lesson on the positive difference you can make with compassion. On January 31, 2018 my cat was taken to Shores by my sister and best friend, unfortunately unknowingly to everyone he was very sick. Tests and blood work were done on him and the heartbreaking decision to have him euthanized was made. We ended up at Shores last night with our pup, Snoopy. All the staff there were so kind and caring not only towards our little man, but us as well. Sadly, we didn't leave with him, but I know they did all they could for him, and I couldn't have asked for better care. I wouldn't hesitate a second to recommend them to anyone!! Thank you, Dr Moser!

Recently, I came home to my cat having a huge lump on the side of her face at midnight, when I got home from work. I called Shores and they recommended my cat be seen. They took me in right away when we got there, and the facility itself was amazing. Super clean. She had an infected tooth and was given antibiotics and pain meds. The doctor even followed up within the next day or 2 to see how cat was. Definitely would go here again for any kind of emergency!

We had to bring our big girl, Lily, in to check out her paw. She jumped from a spot that was too high for her, (she’s a big girl) and wouldn’t walk on it. Everyone was so friendly and kind. I was especially pleased that they were more concerned about helping her and didn’t do tons of labs and tests that they didn’t feel there was a need for. Dr. Miller and the whole staff took great care of Lily. Thank you!
