The best part of my trip was being with my family. Our mistake was staying here. I emailed my concerns to the company and have yet to hear from them.
It was horrible !.....elevator wait times were 30+ minutes ... We were on the 21st floor n I hated being that high up .... Had to leave your ID to get a luggage cart.... PARKING DECK IS THE WORST!!... Took us another 30+ minutes to get out of the parking deck each time we left or arrived. Tried calling the front desk several times with no answer, left messages with no return call back! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.... I seriously do not understand why have to pay 5 bell hops to hold a drivers license cause that's ALL they were ... read more
You need to know what you are getting into. Please contact someone who has recently stayed at Shores before you book. Long lines just to ck in. Our air and fridge did not work and front desk doesn't keep their word on maintenance. Elevators are the slowest I've ever experienced. Be ready to used stairs. We were on 17th floor and almost used them exclusively. No one at front desk answers phone. Check on hidden fees. We were out an extra $344 when we arrived that we weren't expecting. The rooms are spacious. The pool is beautiful, and access to the beach is perfect. But you will have to deal with the worst parking, chaotic check in service and by the time you get to the elevators... You'll wonder if it was all worth it (it won't be.) If you stay here, try your best to get a room on the first floor.
Our family will never return to this resort again! Walking up and down 19 flights of stairs with a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old because the elevators aren't working or the lines are so long isn't considered a great vacation to me. A waist of money, a terrible experience, and an incredible disappointment that our one and only vacation was spent here.
