Spending a day in Indy, a place I’ve not traveled to, was not met with a very warm, or even remotely friendly welcome by the server at this restaurant. She was incredibly rude and very cold. The food? For the cost, it was mediocre at best. It’s a shame. The space is adorable. Sadly, the service and food were incredibly disappointing.
RecommendedShoefly Public House was a wonderful dinner spot after a day of driving. We sat outside in lovely weather and enjoyed some excellent craft beer. I had the tri-tip, hubs had a burger. Both were good, but we agreed the tri-tip was the best.
RecommendedIt’s a nice little restaurant, with a very varied and interesting selection of cuisine. I’m surprised to find a restaurant that serves kimchi here in Indy. Overall, I say give it a shot.

RecommendedIncredible food! I had a vegan burger that was so delicious, I had to get up from my seat to verify that it was not meat. The fries were wider wedges and very tasty too! The tea was delightful! And the staff service was unmatched! I would definitely recommend!
RecommendedArugula salad, beef short rib sandwich and coffee crepe brûlée. Craft beers, ciders. Loved it all. Quiet enough to sit and talk. Nice wait staff. Parking lot at the rear.
RecommendedShoefly has been on my list for a long time. Definitely not disappointed! Really enjoyed ourselves here! We stayed for dessert. Everything was delicious. We’ll visit again.
