I have had a shine solar system for approximately a year and a half. The solar component of the system has performed reasonably well. However, their overall package, which included energy efficiency savings, has significantly underperformed what they committed to in their proposal. The package I received included 22 panels, the replacement of an old HVAC unit, additional insulation, and new lightbulbs. We will guarantee our production every year for the next 25 years, but we cannot guarantee your offset. We base our energy reduction estimates on your previous energy usage. I entered into a contract with shine solar in early February 2021 based largely because we were told we would receive 2 rebates totaling $2000. One would come from the company and one would come from my electric company. After many months of back and forth with the salesman we finally received the rebate from shine solar but not the promised. Rebate from the electric company. Unfortunately, we cannot control what electric companies decide to do with their rebates. At the time you were sold, the rebate was available. I'm very sorry it is not available now. We also cannot apply for these rebates for our customers, and they must be applied for after the system is installed. The rebate expired in February, as stated in an email to you by your utility company.
Shine Solar was so organized and kept us updated every week on the progress of our solar project. That personal and professional service kept us worry free throughout the project. They even worked through our difficult electric company with ease.

I've got to give a double thumbs up to Shine Solor. They were very professional through out the whole process. Which made the whole process from start to finish very simple. They updated our Hvac system. So that we would save even more money during those cold and hot days. There was a couple of hick ups., but Shine Solor was quick to correct them.
