Have been interested in solar for quite some time and recently had the opportunity to purchase a system from Shine Solar. The folks at Shine Solar are great and the personal interaction with all of the staff has been fantastic. My system is functioning perfectly and I can already see that I am going to save on my electric bill. Power and other utility companies have a monopoly and it is always a plus for me when I can give them a poke. I highly recommend Shine Solar to everyone I know.

We got a full system with home efficiency reno and new AC last August and we loved it so much, we got a few more panels and a generator added on! Our bill is way lower and our house is so efficient now!

I went solar in March of 2020. Since then, I've seen a 20-30% reduction in my electric bills. I had an $11 electric bill for March - May of this year alone. The salesperson made it easy to understand the net-metering process and how that would save me money. I had insulation blown in as my 2012 house only had about 8 inches of insulation put in when it was built. In 2020 I inquired about a solar install, after discussion we made a deal on 22 panels to be installed on my steel shop building. And an additional 2 hvac systems to be installed in our home. The install took place in late summer. Everything appeared to be working well and then in late October a winter storm came through the area and caused a large ice build up on the solar panels and caused my steel shop building roof to collapse to a total loss stand point. I can assure you we would never install a system if we felt the building could not handle it to avoid causing any sort of damages such as this. They said they would repair my roof when they put up the solar panels and their glue spots that they put on the screws didn't last and now they won't do anything about the roof so I have several water leaks that I've got to fix. I only went with this company because they said they would fix the leak now I've got a bigger problem and I wish I'd never gone with them in the first place. Chris, when we installed your system, we tightened and sealed around the screws in your roof, per your request. There is no indication that the roof leaks you are now experiencing are due to Shine Solar's fault. Upon completing a site visit and finding that the screws were stripped, there was no indication that this was caused by us tightening the screws or applying sealant, but that the screws were already stripped prior to our install and assisting you in the tightening of these screws. The folks at Shine Solar made getting solar such an easy, smooth experience. Their attention to detail is second to none. Excellent communication, answered all our questions and kept us inform every step of the way through the process. Crews were on time, polite and very attentive. We highly recommend checking them out when you start looking to make the switch to solar. They may not be the lowest price out there but they're going to take care of you throughout the process and long after the sale.
