We loved the idea of using local produce so we decided to eat lunch at this new restaurant. The quirky decor was fun and we loved how things were re-purposed. We enjoyed our server, the cheese curd fries, the pickled veggies and the fudge brownie. That's about it. The restaurant had about 10 people in it when we ordered and it took close to 40 minutes to get our appetizer of fries. I have gotten some amazing take out from here before, and finally had the chance to sit down and eat in today. The service was exceptional and the food is even better. This is the type of restaurant that larger areas get to enjoy, but that this area was sorely missing..until now! You're doing yourself a disservice by not going and checking it out for yourself!!

EVERYTHING WAS REALLY REALLY GOOD!
My husband & I ate at SHIFT for the first time today. I've been wanting to try it & I'm glad we did! I had the falafel with hummus & pita chips & he had a burger with fries. It was a nice portion size for lunch & we didn't wait long for our food to be served. The atmosphere was cozy & our server was friendly & helpful. It's nice to have a different option for lunch or dinner in Frostburg!
