We stayed at Sheildag Lodge in November for our honeymoon. The setting is stunning and in November it felt like we almost had it to ourselves. There is a nice walk you can do from the lodge and it is well located for exploring the nearby area - we recommend a trip to the Badachro Inn too! We had a lake view room which had incredible views and the room itself was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were very good, and there is a bar area for a pre dinner drink.
Was ein wunderschönes Hotel,beim Frühstück den Seehunden beim Spielen zuschauen. Tolles Frühstück und klasse Bar mit allem was man sich unter Schottischen style vorstellt. Das nächste Mal komme ich mit mehr Zeit.
Loved this place. Wish I could have stayed more than 1 night but the rest of the NC500 called. Thanks to Mike, the bar man, who kept me company in the whiskey bar while I had dinner with my dog! Very warm and welcoming place. I will be back.
Fantastic food , beautiful room and very helpful and friendly staff.
Really beautiful hotel and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The dinner was delicious, as too was the breakfast before we left.
