I was able to schedule Sherman Inspection at the last minute, he called to say he was running 15 minutes late (no problem - I was glad he notified me) he stayed for 2 to 2.5 hours was thorough and explained everything to my husband as to what he was looking at. His notes helped us to negotiate with the sellers one item and his price was very reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone.
I hired him to do a home inspection. He stressed to me that if I had Harvey Windows then they were easy to get repaired. The had a lifetime warranty and this would not be an issue so we did not press this issue with the seller because she stated they were indeed Harvey Windows. However, after the sell went through and I contacted Harvey they informed me that any warranty was not transferable. First off, i cannot locate Cynthia in my data base , nor can home advisor. 2nd, I may have mentioned that Harvey windows have a life time warranty, because they do, as you can read in her comments she contacted them, (not prior to purchase as stated in our signed agreement page) and they do, however, i never mentioned, or wrote down, that there warranty is transferable, mainly, because i do not have this knowledge of Harvey windows contracts, only there window performance and rating. 3rd, mass law prohibits any home buyer fr... read more
I used Sherman Home Inspection today to inspect a home my family is hoping to purchase. The inspector was already on site inspecting the exterior when I arrived 10 minutes before our appointment. He had already found a couple of issues to address and pointed them out, and was also able to at least estimate future costs related to these issues. Great service and price.
They did a very well.
Steve was great throughtout the entire process. He has very reasonable pricing. We receive a report immediately and he was very thorough. He answered all of our questions. As first time homebuyers, he walked us through every detail and showed us how to properly maintain our new home. I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again.
