The inspector was just awesome ! He was thorough and practical. He called out things that were just wear and tear vs things that were safety issues. He adviced how to address long term risks and those that needed immediate attention. He was unbiased and let me make the decision on what I needed fixed by seller. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended!

Sherman Inspection was extremely professional and thorough. The inspector was very knowledgeable, explaining everything we as we went through the house, and provided us true peace of mind. Absolutely would recommend for your home inspection needs!
Highly knowledgeable, thorough, quick responses. Also offered information on pest issues which is not something others offered, at least in my admittedly minimal research via HomeAdvisor. Steve was able to make a weekend appointment which was key for our situation. Steve has decades of experience to undergird his home inspections; we needed his expertise for making a punch list to prioritize maintenance/upgrades for a long-owned home. Recommended for sure!

Review does not include some items that homebuyers might be concerned about: radon, water quality, lead paint, outside structures (deck or dock), or quality and fittings of wood stoves. The inspection was carried out in a careful, workmanlike manner. The report was prepared and delivered at the end of the inspection. I am happy to recommend this professional.

Thank you Claire for the 5 star review, however, I wanted to clear some things up. 1) radon testing is always optional testing, it is not part of a home inspection. 2) Water quality and quantity are optional testing performed from a home inspection 3) Lead paint testing is not offered in home inspection, unless the home inspector is licensed in the state for lead paint testing.
