Steve provided a highly professional home inspection and found a major defect which prompted us to terminate the purchase of the inspected property. I recommend Steve Sherman to any buyer before closing on a home.

Very thorough and explained all that he found. He was very patient and also gave general recommendations about caring for your home. He had a great attitude and spoke at our level (first house purchase) without being condescending. He took the attitude of a teacher which was much appreciated. He likely has saved us a lot of grief and money by identifying problems (some very serious and some likely becoming serious in the near future).

He left without closing the cess pool cover. Serious oversight.

cess pool was not part of the home inspection. Not sure why the cover was off. A lot of people were at that inspection doing there own thing, perhaps someone else left the cover off.
